2022-2023 PSD athletic fee- $190. This goes directly to the district.
2022-2023 Pay-to-Play fee- Approximately $180 . This fee covers costs such as wax, bus rides, hotel stays, race entries, and more. It's a monthly 'pay-as-you-go' model to ensure equity. Payments are made online via SchoolPay at the end of each month--payments must be received before participating in the next month (i.e. once January fees are paid, skiers are allowed to participate in February). You only pay for what events you're involved with--it could be more or less than the estimated $180 depending what team you're on and what races you go to.
Financial assistance is available through Poudre School District. Please don't let the fees impact your decision to join the team - talk to Coach Kyle to make arrangements.

Additional Costs:
Wax fee- Competitive team members ONLY ($30)
Equipment- waxable classic skis and poles + skate skis and poles + boots (~$290)
The most popular option for season rentals is our team rental program with the Steamboat Ski Touring Center (deadline for 21-22 season is 9/12/2021). If you're interested in renting equipment from them after the deadline, please reach out to Kajsa at kajsa@nordicski.net or 970-846-6908

Purchasing options include Boulder Nordic Sport (Boulder), and Pioneer Midwest (online- shop is out of Minnesota). With both options, mention you're with Kyle Steitz from Poudre School District for team pricing.

Team race suit- required to compete in races (~$130) *exceptions exist
Team coat ($110), team pants ($70). Both are optional
It’s also strongly recommended that you purchase or obtain appropriate winter clothing including ski hat, gloves, long underwear, non-cotton long sleeves, etc. Students will not be allowed to practice or compete if they are not dressed and prepared for inclement weather.
Registration: Families have two choices to register a student-athlete for a sports season:
Download and print all of the forms and submit them to the high school athletic office in-person. All high school students participating in PSD Athletics must have the following forms completed and turned into their school prior to their participation.
